Rules

NOTICE:  We are alcohol free.  Swimming and drinking do not mix.

We are a family oriented business – please act accordingly!

The adult who made the reservation shall be responsible for the safety and enforcement of rules for the entire group and is liable to pay for damages to the facility that may be incurred by the group.  We are not responsible for any injuries or damages to your property!

We accept Cash or Card payments

A parent must fill out a one-time Waiver, Release & Idemnification Agreement for themselves and their minor children attending.

General Rules for Roystone Hot Springs

Children must be supervised at all times and never left alone in pool or hot tub

Adult must enter pool gates BEFORE any children.  (no exceptions!)

A First Aid kit and emergency phone are available at the office.

Call 911 for all emergencies.  A phone is available at the office.  Cell service is limited in our area -Verizon has the only coverage

In order to avoid paying the cancellation fee -48 hour notice is REQUIRED for all cancellations.  The cancellation fee is the base price of each item reserved.

The pool, hot tub, lodge, and grounds are all reserved separately. Stay in the area you have reserved. The hot tub is not included in the pool rental.  The grass and shelters are NOT included in the pool reservations.  These must be cleaned and maintained and are not free.

Be out of the area (including dressing rooms) by the time your session is over.  The next group is paying for a full session.  More time may be reserved if available.

Clean up after your group and leave it as you found it.

Pets are only allowed in the RV area with RV customers and must be on a leash.

We are alcohol free.  Smoking is allowed in the parking lot.

Bring plenty of drinking water.

The pool and hot tub are closed on Sunday.

 

Pool and Hot Tub Rules:

DO YOUR LOVIN’ AT HOME.

An Adult Must Accompany Children under Age 18 Inside Pool and Hot Tub Gates

Keep the gates closed.

A lifeguard is required by the State of Idaho for 35 or more swimmers.

Obey posted pool rules-no diving, no running, no food or glass inside pool or hot tub gates.

KEEP OFF BASKETBALL HOOP AND WATERFALL MASSAGE POLE.

NO ALCOHOL, NO FOOD, NO GLASS BOTTLES, NO SMOKING, NO PETS inside pool or hot tub gates.

Do not swim if sick or with any open wounds.

Untrained children must use swim diaper-available for $1 at the office.

The hot tub is NOT safe for pregnant women and children 8 and younger. See rules posted at hot tub.

The elderly and those suffering from heart disease, diabetes, or high or low blood pressure should consult a doctor before using the hot tub.

No one under the influence of alcohol, tranquilizers, or other drugs that cause drowsiness or changes in blood pressure is allowed in the hot tub.

Observe reasonable time limits (10-15 minutes) in hot tub; cool down and return.

LIGHTNING RULES :

Swimming and lightning do NOT mix.  If there is lightening, EXIT the water immediately.

Designate a responsible person as the weather safety lookout.

When thunder or lightning are noticed, count the seconds between flash and bang.  At 30 seconds or less, evacuate pool.  1 mile = 5 seconds,  6 miles = 30 seconds

Direct swimmers to a permanent building or a vehicle.  If in a vehicle keep your hands in your lap.  Avoid open shelters.  The party room is a safe place.  Keep the floor dry.

Stay away from electrical conductors or equipment, metal objects, and water, including showers and wet floors.

Wait 30 minutes after the LAST lightning before re-entering water.  It may visit from the back end of the passing thunderstorm.

WE DO NOT REFUND FOR LIGHTNING.  CHECK THE WEATHER REPORT AND IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL A 48 HOUR NOTICE IS REQUIRED FOR A REFUND.

 

Day use Picnic Area Rules

Stay in the grass area and do not go on the hill, roof, fences, behind the pool, or to the private residence.

Use the restrooms at the base of the pool.

Keep the hot tub bathroom doors closed to keep children from hot tub.

Sports equipment is in the closet and more can be checked out at the office.  Please return when finished.

Please me mindful of our picnic tables – hot dutch ovens WILL MELT THEM!  You will be charged for damages.

Open fires must be in well inside established fire pits and kept to a reasonable size. Do not leave fires unattended and extinguish completely.

 

Party Room Rules

Keep the party room back door and hot tub gate closed to keep children from hot tub.

Please be courteous of guests using the Hot Tub, they have private use of the Hot tub restrooms.  Party room guests please use restrooms at base of pool.

 

RV and Camping Rules

Call 208-584-3371 for assistance. Call 911 for emergencies.  A phone is available in the office.

All campers must check-in at the office (calling to check-in is fine).  Check-in 1pm, check-out by noon

Bring your own drinking water.  (All of our water is Hot Springs water and contains excessive natural minerals!)

Open fires must be in well inside established fire pits and kept to a reasonable size. Do not leave fires unattended and extinguish completely.  DO NOT MOVE FIRE RINGS.

Pets are to be kept in the RV and camp area and on a leash when out of the RV.

Pets are not allowed in the grounds around the pool. Clean up all messes with a bag. Noisy pets will not be allowed.

No hot pans on picnic table

Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am. Non-camping guests are required to leave from 10pm – 8am

No drugs, fighting, lewd conduct, profanity.

No use of guns, bows, or weapons of any kinds.

Speed limit is 10mph. No parking on the grass.

Put trash bags in enclosure at north end of RV park.

RV and camp sites must be kept clean for the enjoyment of all guests.

Parents-Watch your kids! They may use the large terrace right above the RV park where you can see them from your RV.  No one may go past the large terrace onto the road or hill. This is trespassing and you will be asked to leave.

The shelters and camping area are by reservation. RV guests are welcome to use the grass area with volleyball, horseshoes, and splash pad unless there is a private event in progress.

THE SPRING HOUSE EVENT CENTER RULES

Please take care of our BRAND NEW BUILDING!

-Spring House rental includes private use of the grass area to the east between the building and the dirt road. The rest of the grounds are shared with other guests unless reserved privately. The picnic shelters, pool, hot tub,and party room are rented separately.

-Alcohol is allowed in the Spring House, the porch area, and in the grass area to the east between the Spring House and the dirt road. All unruly or excessively loud guests must be asked to leave by the person renting the building. If the group is not controlled, all will be asked to leave with no refund.

-In the event of illegal drug use or minors using alcohol, authorities will be called and all will be asked to leave with no refund.

-No smoking or pets inside the building. $200 fine will be charged.

-No nails, screws, tacks, or staples-no holes in the walls. Masking tape only. You will be charged for damages to walls.

-Craft paint may be used outdoors only on the grass or dirt on YOUR tables or tarps.

-No candles or open flames inside building.

-Keep children from playing with switches for lights, fans, dimmers, etc.

-Roystone provides some pots and pans, mixing bowls, cooking utensils, serving dishes, dish and dishwasher detergent. Renter is responsible for bringing table service, dish cloths and towels, paper towels, popcorn poppers, barbeque grills, toasters, mixers, etc.

-This is a warming kitchen. Cook as much as possible in advance and bring ready to heat.

-Bring your own barbeque grill.

-No deep frying is allowed in the building. Fry meat before you come. Use the range fan with the stove top. Use lids on fry pans.

-Rentals or caterers are the responsibility of the renter. All charges and/or damages are the responsibility of the renter.

-Do not allow children to roam around with food, cupcakes, popsicles, watermelon, etc. You will be charged extra for cleaning. Cleaning products are available for your use.

-Staff will restock bathroom paper products daily. Call 208-584-3371 with any issues.

-Leave the building as clean as you found it or additional cleaning charges will apply at $25 per hour

– Before leaving please remove all food from the refrigerator and cupboards. Wash all dishes. Wipe down counters and bathrooms. Sweep floors. All furnishings should be returned to their original location. Chairs must be cleaned where necessary and replace to original position.

Pick up trash inside and outside of buildings, bag it, and place it in the trash enclosure northwest of building. If you would rather pay for this service, costs are as follows:

$100 for up to 50 people; $150 for 50 or more. If staying multiple days please clean daily.
